MAF Off

MAF Off explained — how it works, related DTCs and how Softechpro does it with automatic checksum correction.

What is MAF Off?

MAF Off switches the ECU to a speed-density (MAP-based) load model when the MAF sensor is faulty or removed, keeping the engine running correctly. Softechpro applies it directly in the ECU calibration and recalculates the checksum & CVN automatically, so the file is flash-ready. Typical related codes: P0100, P0101, P0102, P0103.
