Softechpro (SOFTTECHPRO SOLUTIONS LLC) does not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal data or your ECU files — not for advertising, not to data brokers or ad networks, not for analytics resale, and not for any other purpose, ever. Your data stays within Softechpro and is used only to deliver the service you paid for. We show no third-party ads and run no advertising or behavioral trackers.

1. Introduction and Who We Are

Welcome to SoftTechPro Solutions LLC ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy rights under applicable law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

2. Data We Collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate our service and fulfill our legal obligations:

  • Identity & Contact: Full name and email address collected during account registration and purchase.
  • Payment Information: We do not store credit card numbers, CVV codes, or full bank account details. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor. We receive only a transaction confirmation and the last 4 digits of the card for reference.
  • Hardware Fingerprint (HWID): A hardware identifier generated from your Windows machine unique components is collected when you activate the software. This is used exclusively for license binding and anti-piracy enforcement.
  • IP Address: Logged at login, purchase, and software activation for fraud prevention and security auditing.
  • ECU File Metadata: When you use the Cloud Tuning feature, we record metadata about the submitted job (ECU type, requested services, file size, timestamp). We do not permanently retain the binary content of your ECU files — these are processed and deleted within 30 days (see Section 6).
  • Usage Data: Anonymous telemetry from the desktop application (feature usage, error logs) to improve the product. This data contains no personally identifiable information.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data solely for legitimate business purposes:

  • To create and manage your account, process orders, and digitally deliver your software license.
  • To bind your license to your registered hardware (HWID) and verify license validity on each software launch.
  • To provide customer support and resolve licensing or technical issues.
  • To prevent fraud, chargebacks, and unauthorized account access.
  • To send transactional emails (order confirmation, license delivery, password reset). We do not send unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.
  • To comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We never sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal data — ever, and never for advertising. Your data stays within Softechpro. The only limited sharing is with the essential service providers required to actually run the service:

  • Stripe, Inc.: Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's own Privacy Policy.
  • Email Infrastructure: Transactional email delivery services (SMTP). Email content is limited to license and order information.
  • Hosting Infrastructure: Server infrastructure providers. Data is stored on secured servers with encryption at rest.
  • Legal Authorities: Where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of SOFTTECHPRO SOLUTIONS LLC.

We never share ECU tuning files with third parties under any circumstances.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive credentials and license data, and access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cloud Tuning Data Handling

When you submit an ECU file via the Cloud Tuning feature:

  • Your file is uploaded securely over HTTPS and stored temporarily for processing.
  • Processed output files are made available for download via a secure, time-limited link.
  • ECU files (both input and output) are automatically and permanently deleted within 30 days of job completion.
  • We do not analyze, share, or resell the content of your ECU files for any purpose other than performing the requested tuning service.
  • Job metadata (ECU type, service requested, timestamp) is retained for up to 3 years as part of your order history.

7. Your GDPR Rights

If you are a resident of the European Union or EEA, you have the following rights under the GDPR:

  • Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
  • Right to Restriction: Request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Data Retention: We retain your account data, purchase records, and HWID associations for 3 years after your last purchase for tax compliance, fraud prevention, and license audit purposes. After this period, data is deleted or anonymized.

8. Cookies

We use the following categories of cookies:

  • Session/Authentication Cookies: Essential for keeping you logged in during your session. These cannot be disabled without breaking site functionality.
  • Analytics Cookies: Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (page views, navigation paths). No personal identifiers are collected. You may opt out via the cookie consent banner.
  • No Ad Tracking: We do not use advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or third-party behavioral tracking technologies. We have removed all ad-network integrations from this site.
