You are about to hand a company you have never met your ECU files and your card details. So here is exactly who we are, where we are registered, what we sell, how we take payment, and how you reach a human when something goes wrong. Every fact on this page is the same information that is printed on your invoice. Nothing here is marketing.

We are a small, fully digital company. There is no showroom, no call centre and no sales department. The people who answer your ticket are the people who write the software.
1. Legal identity
Softechpro is the trading name. The company behind it is SOFTTECHPRO SOLUTIONS LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, under Filing ID 2026-001927193. That number is public and can be checked against the Wyoming Secretary of State business register.
Every agreement you enter into on this site — a 24-Hour Pass, a subscription, a credit purchase, a Dealer API contract — is with that entity and with no one else. If you are ever offered Softechpro under a different company name, on a different domain, or asked to pay into a different bank account, it is not us. Stop and write to us first.
1.1 The address, honestly explained
Our registered address is 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. It is the registered office and the mailing address for legal and administrative correspondence, and it is the address printed on your invoice.
It is not a workshop, a warehouse or a walk-in office. Nobody there can receive a vehicle, an ECU or a parcel. We say this in plain language because a company that pretends to have premises it does not have is a company you should not buy from. Our work is done remotely, our software is delivered over the internet, and support runs through tickets, email and WhatsApp. If you need a document signed by the company for your own file, ask on a ticket and we will send it by email.
1.2 What we are not
We are a United States company. We are not registered in any EU commercial register and we hold no EU VAT number. See section 4.3 for what that means on your invoice.
We are also not affiliated with, endorsed by, licensed by or acting for any vehicle manufacturer, ECU manufacturer or tuning tool manufacturer. Brand, model and ECU names appear on this site only to describe what our software is compatible with. The detail is in our Compliance & Compatibility page.
2. What we sell, and to whom
We build and license ECU diagnostic and calibration software for automotive professionals. In concrete terms, that is four things:
- The Softechpro desktop application for Windows — it reads an ECU file you already have, identifies it, and applies the solution you choose.
- The Modules web panel at softechpro-solutions.com/modules — your account, your licence, your tickets and the browser-side tooling.
- Cloud Tuning — server-side processing of a file you upload, paid with tuning credits.
- The Dealer API — for shops that want to call the engine from their own system. Documentation is on the developers page.
2.1 What it costs
Access is sold as a 24-Hour Pass (€19), a monthly plan (€75) or an annual plan (€679). Cloud power tuning is paid with tuning credits (€10.00 each). Moving your licence to a different computer is an HWID change (€55.99). All prices are in euros. Every plan is either a one-off pass or a subscription — those are the only two shapes access comes in.
2.2 Our customer is a professional
This is B2B software. It is built for chip-tuning shops, diagnostic specialists and independent garages that already own a reading and writing tool — bench, boot or OBD — and that know how to recover an ECU if a write is interrupted. We do not sell to private drivers who want to modify their own car, and nothing in our product replaces the judgement of a qualified technician.
One licence is for one computer, bound to that machine's hardware ID. It is not a floating seat, and it is not a way for several technicians to share one account over a remote session. Reaching your own licensed machine with TeamViewer, AnyDesk or Remote Desktop is perfectly fine. If you need to move the licence to a different computer, that is the HWID change described above.
2.3 What we do not do
We would rather you know this before you pay than discover it after:
- We do not sell hardware. No interfaces, no cables, no bench tools.
- We do not touch vehicles. We never connect to your car. We work on the file you send us.
- We do not read or write ECUs for you. That is your tool, your connection and your responsibility.
- We do not cover heavy trucks, buses, agricultural or industrial engines on this platform.
- We do not decide whether a modification is legal where you operate. That is in the Acceptable Use Policy, and it is on you.
3. How to reach us
Four ways in, listed in the order that gets you a real answer fastest:
- 1. A ticket in your account. Open one from the Modules panel. This is the best channel by a wide margin: your licence, your orders and your file history are already attached, so we do not have to spend the first reply asking who you are.
- 2. WhatsApp support — chat with us (+1 249 349 0401). Best for a short question or a screenshot.
- 3. Email — support@softechpro-solutions.com. Use this for billing, refunds, invoices, data protection requests and formal notices. Always quote your Order ID and the email address you paid with.
- 4. The contact form on our Contact page, if you do not have an account yet.
We do not publish a support telephone number, and we will not pretend otherwise. Almost every problem we solve needs a file, a screenshot or a log, and none of those travel down a phone line.
3.1 Hours and response times
Support is staffed Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 EST. Our standard response time is 24 to 48 hours. Refund requests are answered within 24 hours. Data protection requests are answered within 30 days, as set out in the Privacy Policy. Messages sent at the weekend are read on the next working day. WhatsApp is usually quicker than email at any hour, but we are not a 24/7 helpdesk and we will not claim to be one.
If a ticket of yours passes 48 working hours with no answer, that is a failure on our side, not normal service. Reply on the same ticket with the word ESCALATE on the first line. We watch for that word and pick the ticket up by hand. It is a flag for a human being, not an automated priority queue, and it is the fastest way to tell us that yours has slipped through.
3.2 Language
We work in English. Write to us in Spanish, French or Italian if that is easier for you — we will read it — but we answer in English on purpose. Technical instructions about writing an ECU are not something we want to lose in translation.
3.3 Our public channels
These carry announcements, new ECU coverage and tutorials. They are not support channels, and you should never send files, licence keys or personal data through them:
- WhatsApp Channel — coverage and release announcements
- YouTube — tutorials and walkthroughs
Those four accounts and this domain are the whole list. Any other page, group or reseller offering Softechpro is not authorised by us, and we cannot honour a licence bought there.
4. How you pay, and how you are invoiced
All payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number never reaches our servers — it goes directly to Stripe, who are a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor. We receive a transaction reference and the result, nothing else. 3D Secure / Strong Customer Authentication is requested on every transaction, so you personally approve the payment with your own bank before it can complete.
4.1 What we accept
We accept credit and debit cards through Stripe. That is the only payment method at checkout — no cryptocurrency, no cash. If we ever agree a different arrangement for a specific order, it is confirmed from support@softechpro-solutions.com on a ticket you opened yourself, and the payment page is still on a domain you can check. Anything else is not us. Nobody here will contact you out of the blue with a payment link, and we will never ask you to send money to a personal account.
Everything is charged in euros (EUR). We do not apply our own currency conversion and we add no handling fee. If your bank converts from another currency, that spread belongs to your bank: it will appear on your statement, never on our invoice.
4.2 Your invoice
A PDF invoice is generated automatically for every paid order. You can download it at any time from Payment history & invoices in your profile. It carries our full seller block — legal name, registered address, Wyoming Filing ID, our US federal tax identification number (EIN) and our support email — along with your details, the order reference, the description and the amount in EUR.
If you need your company name and VAT or registration number printed on the invoice, fill those fields in when you register or at checkout. They are optional, but if they are empty we cannot invent them. Already paid with the fields blank? Open a ticket with your Order ID and the correct company details and we will reissue the invoice.
4.3 Tax
We are a US entity with no EU VAT registration, so no VAT is added at checkout and our invoices are issued without EU VAT. Where you supply an EU VAT number, the invoice states that VAT is accounted for by the recipient under the reverse-charge mechanism, where applicable.
How you record that purchase in your own books depends on your country and on your status. We are software engineers, not your tax adviser. Ask your accountant, and tell us which document you need for your file — we will produce it.
5. You can try it before you pay
Create an account and you get a free 15-minute trial, no card required: full access to analyse, tune and download your tuned file. Previewing what a given file would receive stays free for ever. One trial per device.
We would genuinely rather you spend fifteen minutes proving the software works on your vehicles than pay first and find out afterwards. And if you do buy and it still is not right for your shop, the free 15-minute trial before you buy covers you — no justification required.
6. Where our rules are written
Nothing that matters about this business is buried in a paragraph you cannot find. These are the documents that govern your purchase, and they are all one click from every page on this site:
- Terms & Conditions — the contract itself: licences, HWID binding, Cloud Tuning, liability.
- Refund Policy — why every sale is final, and what we do instead when something is genuinely our fault.
- ECU Tuning Policy — how we decide whether your exact software version is covered, and what we tell you when it is not.
- Digital Delivery Policy — how and when your licence and your files reach you.
- Acceptable Use Policy — what you may and may not do with the software.
- Compliance & Compatibility — road legality, emissions equipment and manufacturer independence.
- Privacy Policy — what we store, for how long, and your rights. Data requests go to support@softechpro-solutions.com and are answered within 30 days.
- Cookies Policy — what actually runs in your browser.
7. If something goes wrong, do this
A real escalation path, in order. Every step has an address behind it and a person at the end of it:
- Open a ticket from the Modules panel. Include your Order ID, the ECU, the vehicle, and the file you were working on. Nine problems out of ten end here, on the first reply.
- No answer within 48 working hours? Reply on the same ticket with ESCALATE on the first line, or write to support@softechpro-solutions.com quoting the ticket number.
- Is it about money? Email support@softechpro-solutions.com with your Order ID. All sales are final, so we will not be sending the money back — but tell us what went wrong and we will fix the problem itself: a licence that will not activate, a PC that will not bind, a file that came out wrong. The detail is in the Refund Policy.
- Still not resolved? Send a written complaint to the same address with the subject line FORMAL COMPLAINT. It is read by the company, not by a support agent, and you get a written answer.
Please talk to us before you call your bank. A chargeback takes weeks, freezes your account while it runs, and costs us both money we would rather not spend. Write to us first and in most cases we have the problem solved the same day, and you keep your account and your remaining time. If you genuinely believe a charge was not made by you, tell us and we will investigate it together with you.
7.1 Keeping this page honest
If any detail here is out of date, wrong, or does not match what is printed on your invoice, tell us at support@softechpro-solutions.com and we will correct it. We would rather be corrected than look trustworthy on a page that is not accurate.
