Compliance & Compatibility
Last Updated: August, 2026
1. Regulatory Compliance (Emissions)
Our software serves to alter engine management mapping. The purchaser acknowledges that modifying an Engine Control Unit (ECU) may render a vehicle illegal for use on public roads. SoftTechPro Solutions LLC assumes no responsibility for a user's failure to comply with local environmental regulations.
2. Hardware Compatibility
The software is designed strictly for Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit) operating systems. We do not guarantee compatibility with virtual machines (VMs), emulators, or older operating systems like Windows 7 or Windows 8. Issues arising from the use of unsupported environments do not qualify for a refund.
3. ECU Risk and Liability
While our algorithms are rigorously tested, writing new files to an ECU always carries inherent risk. Background processes on the user's PC, poor battery voltage in the vehicle, or a low-quality diagnostic interface can all cause the ECU flashing process to fail, potentially "bricking" the unit.
SoftTechPro Solutions LLC provides the modified file data only. We are not liable for any mechanical failures, ECU damage, towing fees, or loss of business revenue resulting from the use of our software.
