1. Strict No-Refund Policy for Digital Goods

SoftTechPro Solutions LLC provides specialized, professional-grade automotive ECU tuning and diagnostic software, delivered 100% digitally. Due to the digital nature of the product, the irrevocable generation of HWID-bound licences, and the immediate access to proprietary algorithms, maps and processing on activation, all sales are strictly final and non-refundable once the software has been activated or used.

We log all software activations, ECU file-processing events and HWID (Hardware ID) bindings. If our server logs indicate that your unique HWID has been registered and that the software has been executed to process, or attempt to process, ECU files, you are explicitly disqualified from any refund under all circumstances. This policy is strictly enforced to prevent software abuse, piracy and fraudulent "use-and-refund" tactics. There is no money-back guarantee and no trial-period refund.

2. No Right of Withdrawal After Access

In accordance with international consumer-protection rules for digital content, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised once the digital product has been delivered, downloaded or accessed. By purchasing, downloading or activating your licence, you expressly acknowledge that the service has begun and you waive any right to a refund, including a refund based on a change of mind.

3. ECU Functionality & Compatibility Variances

Modern ECUs are complex and their internal flash structures can vary significantly even among identical vehicle models, depending on software version, prior modifications or dealer updates. Softechpro operates via deterministic and heuristic algorithms that map DPF, EGR, SCR (AdBlue) and DTC structures. While we support a vast array of ECUs, we do not guarantee 100% compatibility for every single file or software version in existence. If a specific file from a rare or heavily-modified ECU version cannot be patched automatically, this does not constitute valid grounds for a refund. It is the responsibility of the professional tuner to verify the hex dumps manually. Unsuccessful automated patches are a normal occurrence in this specialized industry.

4. Coverage Limits

Softechpro is designed for passenger cars and light commercial vans. Heavy-duty trucks, buses, agricultural, marine and industrial ECUs are not covered and not eligible for any refund. A specific vehicle, ECU or software version not being actively supported is not grounds for a refund.

5. Subscription Cancellations

If you are on a recurring plan, you may cancel at any time to stop future billing. Cancellation does not grant a retroactive refund for time already paid; you simply retain access until the end of the current billing cycle.

6. Limited Exceptions (Billing Errors Only)

The only situation in which a correction may be issued is a proven, systemic billing error (for example, being charged twice for the same single transaction by mistake). Contact [email protected] with your Order ID and the purchase email; we review within 48–72 business hours. This does not apply once the software has been activated or used.

7. Dispute & Chargeback Policy

We work closely with our payment processor (Stripe) to prevent fraud. Filing a fraudulent chargeback (e.g. claiming "item not received" after a licence has been delivered and the HWID activated) is a violation of our Terms. All relevant logs, IP data and licence-activation records will be submitted to the bank in the event of a dispute. Please contact us first to resolve any legitimate issue.
