How do I convert bar to psi?

Multiply bar by 14.5038 to get psi. For example, 1 bar of boost = 14.5 psi. Divide psi by 14.5038 to convert back to bar.

Is bar gauge or absolute?

This converter treats the value as-is. Boost gauges read gauge pressure (0 at idle); add about 1 bar / 14.7 psi to get absolute pressure.
