OEM Diagnostic
Xentry (XENTRY Diagnostics) is Mercedes-Benz's current factory dealer diagnostic and programming system for passenger cars, vans and, via dedicated variants, trucks. It performs guided fault diagnosis, reads and clears DTCs across all control units, runs actuations and service routines, and handles SCN online coding and ECU flash programming. It connects to the vehicle through an SD Connect C4/C6 multiplexer or a supported passthru interface. Dealers and independent Mercedes specialists use it for routine service functions, control-unit replacement and online programming, which requires Mercedes online access for SCN coding. It succeeded the older DAS software and integrates the WIS/ASRA repair information. Supported vehicles span modern Mercedes platforms using CAN and Ethernet (DoIP) diagnostics, making it the reference OEM tool for deep Mercedes work.
Xentry handles Mercedes read/write, SCN coding and flashing; Softechpro works on the engine ECU binary afterward — applying DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off modules and recalculating the checksum for the extracted file.
