OEM Diagnostic
DTS Monaco is the Mercedes-Benz engineering diagnostic environment built on Vector Informatik's Diagnostic Tool Set (DTS). Using ODX/MCD project data, it provides expert-level access to control units for variant coding, flashing, ECU personalization, and running development and service jobs that guided Xentry hides. It is the modern counterpart and successor to Vediamo for newer Mercedes platforms such as the MRA/EVA electrical architectures, enabling feature retrofits and deep coding through defined "device jobs." Advanced Mercedes coders and specialists use it for module activation, animations and personalization on current models, connecting via a supported passthru or Star C6 multiplexer. Because it directly writes coding and firmware, it requires correct project/ODX files and carries real bricking risk if used incorrectly.
DTS Monaco handles Mercedes coding and flashing at the engineering level; Softechpro operates on the extracted engine binary instead, applying emissions/DTC-off modules and Stage changes with automatic checksum correction.
