HP Tuners VCM Suite is a Windows software bundle pairing VCM Editor (calibration editing) and VCM Scanner (datalogging/diagnostics), used with an MPVI2/MPVI3 OBD-II interface. It reads, edits, and reflashes factory powertrain and transmission controllers across a very broad range of vehicles, with especially deep coverage of GM (LS/LT, Duramax) plus Ford, Dodge/Ram/Chrysler, and a growing list of other makes. Tuners adjust fuel, spark, boost, transmission shift, torque management, and speed/rev limiters, then log wideband and OEM PIDs to validate the tune. The platform uses a credit/license system tied to each vehicle. It is one of the most widely used flash-and-scan platforms among North American performance shops and DIY tuners for both street and dyno work.
HP Tuners centers on North American gasoline (and Duramax diesel) reflashing, while Softechpro focuses on EU Bosch/Siemens diesel emissions modules and automatic checksum correction. They overlap little and can complement a shop covering both markets.
