VCM Editor

ECU Editor / Map EditorHP TunersWindows + MPVI interface

VCM Editor is the calibration-editing half of HP Tuners' VCM Suite. It reads, edits and reflashes factory engine and transmission calibrations on GM, Ford and Dodge/RAM/Jeep (Chrysler/FCA/Stellantis) plus select other OEM vehicles, using the MPVI2/MPVI3 interface over OBD-II. Tuners adjust fuel, spark, boost, torque management, speed and rev limiters, transmission shift tables and thousands of other parameters through labeled table and scalar views. Credits are consumed to license each additional vehicle VIN. It is one of the most widely used platforms among North American domestic-vehicle tuners and shops, and is normally paired with VCM Scanner for datalogging so changes can be validated on the dyno or road.

Where Softechpro fits

Softechpro focuses on European Bosch/Siemens diesel and petrol firmware, auto-applying DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off modules with checksum correction, so it complements VCM Editor's manual domestic-vehicle map editing rather than duplicating it. Users editing calibrations in VCM Editor still perform the OBD read/write with their MPVI hardware.
