EFILive is Windows tuning-and-scanning software best known for GM vehicles, with particularly strong support for Duramax diesel trucks and GM LS/LT gasoline engines, plus some Cummins and Holden coverage. Paired with EFILive FlashScan or AutoCal hardware, it reads and reflashes engine and transmission controllers, edits calibration tables (injection timing, fuel rate, boost, torque management, shift behavior, DPF/regen strategy on diesels), and provides high-speed datalogging with custom PIDs and math channels. It is popular with diesel performance shops for Duramax builds and with LS/LT tuners. EFILive uses a licensing model tied to hardware, and tuners can lock and distribute tunes to customers via AutoCal. Its diesel calibration depth is a major reason for its adoption among truck tuners.
EFILive is a North American GM/Duramax platform, while Softechpro targets EU Bosch/Siemens diesel ECUs with pre-built emissions/DTC-off modules and automatic checksum correction. Both touch diesel tuning but on different vehicle families.
