ECU Flash Tool
FlashScan V2 is the second-generation EFILive hardware interface, connecting a PC to the OBD-II port to read, reflash, and datalog supported GM gasoline (LS/LT) and Duramax diesel controllers, with additional coverage such as Cummins on some applications. It works with EFILive's Scan and Tune software and supports a standalone black-box mode for logging or flashing preloaded tunes without a laptop, as well as programming AutoCal customer devices. FlashScan V2 has been a long-standing workhorse in the diesel truck and LS tuning communities. It is licensed to the owner, with tunes and logging tied to the device. The newer FlashScan V3 succeeds it with expanded coverage and capabilities, but V2 remains widely in service.
FlashScan V2 is proprietary EFILive hardware for GM/Duramax; Softechpro is EU-diesel-focused software for emissions modules and checksum correction. They operate in different ecosystems.
