Emissions & Deletes
Software delete of failure-prone diesel intake swirl flaps.
Also known as: swirl flaps · swirl flap off · inlet flap · intake flap delete · p-flap · port flap · swirl flap removal
Swirl flaps sit in diesel intake ports to improve low-load mixing, but they wear, stick and can break off into the engine. A swirl-flap delete removes the flaps physically and switches off their control and diagnostics in the ECU so no fault codes or limp mode appear. It's a common reliability fix on VAG, BMW and Mercedes diesels, with negligible real-world drivability impact when done correctly.
Softechpro Solutions applies emissions/diagnostic modules (DPF, EGR, AdBlue, DTC off, swirl flaps) automatically and supports Stage power and character features via credits, correcting the checksum across ~1,400 firmwares — on Windows & macOS.
