Stage 2 is a calibration matched to common bolt-on hardware — sports/decat downpipe, intake, intercooler, sometimes a bigger exhaust — to exploit the improved flow for more power than Stage 1. It requires the supporting mods to be fitted and is tailored to the exact combination. Often paired with lambda/DTC handling for the new exhaust.
