MPPS V22 is a further iteration of the MPPS flashing tool line, continuing the OBD-centric read/write approach for European diesel and petrol ECUs. It covers Bosch EDC15/EDC16/EDC17 and Siemens/Continental controllers with limited bench/boot options on certain units, and is used to back up originals, write tuned maps and handle checksums. As with the rest of the MPPS range, most units in circulation are clones, so protocol support and stability differ from one V22 device to another. Operators verify each read and keep stock backups before writing. It appeals to budget-focused tuners; newer Tricore ECUs are only partially covered depending on the specific build.
As with the rest of the MPPS line, Softechpro Solutions edits what a V22 reads, applying emissions/DTC-off modules and correcting the checksum before you write back. The tool is the interface; Softechpro is the file stage.
