MPPS V21 is a later revision of the MPPS ECU programmer, offering expanded protocol coverage over earlier builds while keeping the same OBD-focused workflow for diesel and petrol tuning. It targets Bosch EDC15/EDC16/EDC17 and Siemens/Continental ECUs, with some bench/boot support on specific units, and is used to back up stock calibrations, write modified maps and manage checksums. Sold largely as clone hardware, individual V21 units vary in reliability and exact vehicle coverage, so tuners test reads carefully and retain verified originals. It is a common upgrade path from V18 for hobbyists and small shops working on European vehicles, though modern Tricore-based ECUs remain only partially supported.
