Aftermarket Diagnostic Scanner
DDT4All is a free, open-source diagnostic and configuration tool focused on Renault, Dacia, and Nissan vehicles. It reads the manufacturer's ECU description databases (derived from the DDT/Clip data) and presents module screens that let users read/clear fault codes, view live parameters, run actuator tests, and — most notably — change ECU configuration and hidden coding options such as enabling features or adjusting body/comfort settings. It communicates through inexpensive ELM327 adapters or Ethernet (ENET) interfaces, making dealer-style coding accessible to enthusiasts. Because it exposes writeable parameters, it is powerful but requires care to avoid mis-coding modules. The project is community-maintained and popular among Renault/Dacia owners for retrofits and personalization that would otherwise need Clip.
DDT4All changes module configuration/coding over OBD; Softechpro Solutions operates on the ECU firmware image instead, applying DPF/EGR/DTC-off modules and tuning with checksum correction — a different layer than DDT4All's parameter coding.
