Aftermarket Diagnostic Scanner
DDT2000 is a third-party diagnostic application for Renault and Nissan vehicles that reuses the manufacturer's DDT ECU description files (the same data that underlies Renault Clip). It gives access to per-module screens for reading and clearing fault codes, viewing live measurement parameters, running command/actuator tests, and editing configuration and coding values. Predating the more user-friendly DDT4All, DDT2000 is favored by advanced users who want deep, low-level access to Renault ECUs and body modules through affordable interfaces. Its power comes with risk: writing wrong configuration values can mis-code a module, so it is aimed at experienced technicians rather than casual users. It laid the groundwork for later open tools like DDT4All and PyRen.
DDT2000 focuses on Renault module coding and diagnostics; Softechpro Solutions is complementary, editing the ECU firmware for emissions/DTC-off modules and Stage tuning with automatic checksum correction rather than OBD-level configuration.
