Bench / BSL / Boot ToolElnecWindows + programmer hardware

BeeProg is a family of universal device programmers made by the Slovak company Elnec, including BeeProg2, BeeProg2C and BeeProg+. It reads and writes standalone memory and logic devices — serial and parallel EEPROMs, NOR/NAND flash, microcontrollers and PLDs — through ZIF sockets and adapters rather than through a vehicle port. In automotive electronics repair it is used on the bench to dump and reprogram the 24Cxx, 25xxx and 93xxx EEPROM and flash chips found in ECUs, instrument clusters, immobiliser boxes and airbag modules after the chip has been desoldered or accessed on an adapter. ECU rebuilders, cluster-repair specialists and locksmiths rely on it for accurate operations and a very wide device library.

Where Softechpro fits

Softechpro is the software layer, not the hardware: after you pull an ECU flash with a programmer like BeeProg, Softechpro can apply its DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off modules and recalculate the checksum on the dumped file, which you then write back with the programmer.
