Orange-5 by Scorpio-LK is a professional programmer for memory chips and microcontrollers used across automotive electronics. With its software packages it reads and writes EEPROM and MCU devices for immobilizer, dashboard/odometer, airbag and ECU applications, and includes dedicated functions and adapters for many specific modules. Locksmiths and electronics specialists use Orange-5 for key/immo data extraction, mileage operations, airbag crash-data handling and module repair. It works through in-circuit clips, soldering and package-specific adapters, and its optional licensed software plugins extend coverage to particular systems. Orange-5 is Windows-based with its own hardware. It operates at the chip level and is one component within broader immobilizer and module-repair workflows rather than a diagnostic scanner.
Orange-5 handles chip-level immo, dash and airbag work that Softechpro does not perform. For the engine ECU, Softechpro processes the firmware, emissions/DTC-off/tuning modules plus checksum correction, on supported files as a complementary step.
