Holds a set launch RPM for a consistent, boosted standing start.
Also known as: launch rpm · two step · 2-step · two-step · build boost · brake boost · launch limiter · standing start
Launch control holds the engine at a preset RPM while you're stationary with the throttle floored, letting a turbo build boost against a rev limit so the car leaves the line hard and repeatably. It's implemented in the ECU with a speed/clutch-based launch limiter and often paired with antilag for boost. Great for drag and track starts; it loads the clutch/drivetrain, so it's a performance feature for competent use.
Softechpro Solutions applies emissions/diagnostic modules (DPF, EGR, AdBlue, DTC off, swirl flaps) automatically and supports Stage power and character features via credits, correcting the checksum across ~1,400 firmwares — on Windows & macOS.
