Immo-off removes the immobiliser handshake from an engine ECU so it will run without the original key/BCM link — used to recover a swapped, cloned or virginised ECU on the bench, or to fit a used ECU. It's a repair/recovery operation for legitimately owned units and requires care as it changes anti-theft behaviour. Best handled on the bench with a full backup.
