Virginising resets an engine or immo-related ECU to a neutral, un-married state so it can be freshly coded/adapted to another vehicle. It's a repair/recovery step when re-using a used ECU or clearing a mismatched immo link, done on the bench with backups. Handle carefully as it clears the anti-theft marriage.
