Emissions Tool (DPF/EGR/AdBlue)
"SCR Remover" names software that edits an ECU's calibration to disable the Selective Catalytic Reduction system, the NOx-reduction technology that relies on AdBlue (DEF) injection. It deactivates DEF dosing, NOx monitoring, and the associated inducement, countdown, and fault strategies, with automatic checksum correction so the read stays valid. Because SCR and AdBlue are the same system viewed from different angles, SCR Remover and AdBlue Remover overlap heavily. It is applied on diesel cars, vans, and especially trucks in off-road, export, or motorsport contexts, and on newer vehicles a complete solution can also require handling NOx sensors, sometimes via a hardware emulator. Coverage depends on the supported ECU. Disabling SCR on road-registered vehicles is illegal in many jurisdictions.
Softechpro handles SCR/AdBlue deactivation as an automatic module with checksum correction wherever the firmware is supported, alongside DPF/EGR/DTC and Stage tuning. On some vehicles a hardware NOx emulator is still needed for a full solution, which software alone does not cover.
