Data Logging & Analysis
Race Technology is a UK manufacturer of motorsport and automotive data-acquisition products — GPS-based data loggers such as the DL1 and DL2, video systems, and accompanying Analysis software. Their systems combine GPS, accelerometers and vehicle/ECU inputs to log speed, position, g-force, lap times and engine channels for track and testing use. Race Technology gear is popular with club racers, engineers and vehicle testers who need accurate performance data and lap timing at accessible cost. The ecosystem covers hardware for capture and PC software for analysis, letting users overlay laps, map tracks and correlate driver inputs with vehicle response. Its products acquire and analyse data; they are not ECU calibration tools.
Race Technology's loggers measure vehicle performance and do not touch ECU firmware, so they are complementary to Softechpro; a tuner could use a DL1-class logger to quantify before/after performance of a Softechpro-applied change.
