BCM / Body / Gateway Tool
A PSA BSI Tool works specifically with the Peugeot/Citroen (Stellantis) BSI (Body Systems Interface), the central body computer that manages the immobilizer, comfort systems, lighting and network gateway. It reads and writes BSI configuration and EEPROM to program keys, run immo/PIN operations, virginize or clone a BSI, correct configuration after a module swap, and align the BSI with the engine ECU. OBD access is used for many jobs while locked, water-damaged or dead units are read on the bench. Users are PSA-focused auto locksmiths and body-electronics repairers dealing with lost keys and BSI replacement. Because the BSI is the security and configuration hub of the vehicle, correct data and accurate pairing with the ECU are needed for the car to start and its systems to function.
Softechpro does not program BSI modules or PSA keys, so it does not replace the PSA BSI Tool. On Peugeot/Citroen vehicles the BSI Tool handles body/immo work while Softechpro applies engine-ECU DTC-off and emissions edits separately.
