Immo & Key Programming
Immo Off is the general service name for patching an engine ECU so it ignores the immobiliser and starts without a valid transponder-key handshake. The edit targets the section of firmware that checks the rolling-code exchange with the BCM/immo box; once disabled, the ECU cranks and runs on its own. It is the standard fix when a replacement or donor ECU cannot be synced to the car, when the immobiliser hardware has failed, or when running an engine on a stand. Immo-off is available for a large range of Bosch, Continental/Siemens, Delphi and Marelli ECUs, though feasibility varies by generation and encryption. Because it removes a theft deterrent, it is meant for owner-authorised repair, engine swaps and motorsport, not for defeating security on unknown vehicles.
Softechpro Solutions is built around tuning, emissions and DTC-off modules and does not perform immo-off. This dedicated function complements Softechpro, which handles the tuning side of the same ECU once it starts.
