OEM Diagnostic
MUT-III (Multi-Use Tester III) is Mitsubishi Motors' official dealer diagnostic tool. Used with the MUT-III VCI (vehicle communication interface), it reads and clears DTCs, displays live data and freeze-frame, runs actuator tests, performs ECU reprogramming and software download, and handles immobiliser key registration, coding and service functions across Mitsubishi passenger cars and light trucks. It supports both legacy MMC protocols and modern CAN vehicles. Dealers and independents use MUT-III for warranty-level diagnostics, module programming and the immobiliser operations that require genuine OEM access on Mitsubishi vehicles.
Softechpro modifies engine calibration files (DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off, Stage) with checksum correction; MUT-III is still needed for OEM reflashing, immobiliser coding and clearing codes on Mitsubishi vehicles.
