OEM Diagnostic
Mercedes Truck Xentry is the commercial-vehicle application of Mercedes-Benz's Xentry/DAS diagnostic system, used for Actros, Antos, Arocs, Atego, and Citaro and Setra platforms as well as their diesel engines and aftertreatment. Running on Windows with a Mercedes diagnostic multiplexer such as the Xentry Diagnosis VCI, it reads and clears fault codes across all control units, streams live data, runs actuation tests and guided diagnostics, performs SCR/AdBlue and DPF service functions, and handles control-unit coding, online SCN programming, and calibration. Daimler Truck dealers and heavy-vehicle workshops rely on it for warranty-grade diagnosis and module replacement. Xentry is an OEM factory system centered on diagnosis and sanctioned programming rather than aftermarket tuning.
Softechpro edits the extracted engine firmware for DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off and corrects checksums, whereas Xentry performs the OEM diagnostic session and online coding; they are complementary roles, not substitutes.
