Immo & Key Programming
The Marelli MJD Tool is the same class of utility named after the Magneti Marelli MJD diesel ECU platform used across Fiat, Alfa, Lancia, Opel, Suzuki, Ford and Jeep MultiJet applications. It accesses the ECU EEPROM and program flash to read the immobilizer code, perform immo-off, clone the original module to a donor, or recover a unit that failed during a previous write. OBD and bench methods are both used depending on the MJD sub-type and its security. The tool is used by ECU rebuilders and auto locksmiths for replacement-ECU jobs and lost-key or theft recovery. Because MJD units are paired with the vehicle's body/immo system, correct data alignment and checksum handling ensure the engine starts and runs cleanly after the operation.
Softechpro is a tuning/diagnostics tool, not an immobilizer programmer, so it works alongside the Marelli MJD Tool. After the read, Softechpro can auto-apply EGR/DPF/AdBlue/DTC-off modules and recalculate checksums on supported MJD firmwares.
