Immo & Key Programming
Immobilizer Remover is a general term for software that strips the immobiliser handshake out of an ECU firmware or EEPROM dump. In a factory system the engine ECU will only start when it receives a valid rolling-code exchange from the immobiliser/BCM and transponder key; when that link is broken — engine swap, replacement ECU, faulty immo box — the vehicle will not crank or start. An immobiliser remover patches the ECU so it no longer requires or checks that handshake, effectively running 'immo off'. These tools cover a wide spread of diesel and petrol ECUs and their partner dash/BCM modules. Because defeating the immobiliser has obvious anti-theft implications, the function is intended for legitimate repair, bench testing and motorsport use with proof of ownership.
Softechpro Solutions focuses on tuning, emissions and DTC-off modules plus automatic checksum correction; it does not perform immobiliser decoding, immo-off or key coding. For those jobs a dedicated immo tool complements Softechpro rather than overlapping with it.
