Aftermarket Diagnostic Scanner
IAW Scan is a diagnostic utility aimed at vehicles running Magneti Marelli IAW-family engine control units, common on older Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Peugeot, Citroën, Renault and similar European petrol cars. It communicates with the IAW ECU, often over K-line/ISO with a suitable interface, to read and clear fault codes, display live sensor data such as RPM, throttle position, lambda and injection/ignition parameters, run actuator tests, and reset adaptations or service parameters specific to the IAW platform. Independent workshops and enthusiasts use it to diagnose fueling, sensor and idle issues on IAW-equipped engines where generic OBD tools give limited access. Exact model and IAW variant coverage depends on the software build and the diagnostic cable used.
