Standalone ECU / Engine Management
FTManager is FuelTech's software for configuring and tuning its FT-series standalone engine-management units, such as the FT450, FT550 and FT600. Tuners use it to build and edit fuel and ignition tables, set up injection and ignition hardware, configure sensors, boost control, nitrous, staging and drag-racing features, and review logged data. FuelTech ECUs are especially popular in high-power street, drag and circuit builds, and FTManager mirrors the on-unit touchscreen interface so calibrations can be developed on a PC and transferred to the ECU. The software targets FuelTech's own hardware rather than OEM vehicle ECUs, and combines calibration, wiring/output setup and datalogging analysis in a single tuner-oriented environment.
FTManager tunes FuelTech standalone ECUs that take over from the factory unit, while Softechpro modifies OEM firmware in place — different hardware paths, so they complement each other in a shop that handles both.
