Standalone ECU / Engine Management
The FT600 is one of FuelTech's high-end standalone engine-management ECUs, aimed at advanced and high-power builds that need extensive inputs, outputs and control features. It provides sequential fuel and ignition, comprehensive boost and traction strategies, drag-racing functions, extensive datalogging and a large channel count, all tuned through FTManager and the on-unit display. The FT600 is common in serious drag, motorsport and heavily modified street applications where builders demand maximum flexibility from a programmable ECU. It integrates with FuelTech's wider ecosystem of ignition modules, dashes and peripherals. Being a standalone aftermarket unit, it takes full control of the engine rather than reflashing or modifying an OEM control unit.
The FT600 is a full standalone ECU replacing the factory unit, which is a different path from Softechpro's editing of OEM firmware; both can live in one shop serving conversion and factory-tuning customers respectively.
