Aftermarket Diagnostic Scanner
MultiECUScan (MES) is a low-cost third-party diagnostic application for Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Abarth vehicles. Using inexpensive interfaces (ELM327-based, or recommended dedicated cables for full coverage), it reads and clears DTCs across dozens of modules — engine, ABS, airbag, body, climate and instrument — shows live data, runs actuator tests and adaptations, and performs service procedures like proxy alignment, oil/service reset, bleeding, and some key/immobilizer functions. It is popular with enthusiasts and small workshops because it delivers marque-specific access far beyond generic OBD apps at a fraction of dealer-tool cost. Coverage depends on the adapter used; the developer's dedicated cable unlocks the widest module list. It is a leading community tool for Fiat-group diagnostics.
