Aftermarket Diagnostic Scanner
AlfaOBD is a third-party diagnostic and configuration application for FCA/Stellantis vehicles — Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram — available for Windows and Android with a compatible OBD adapter. Beyond reading and clearing DTCs and showing live data, its strength is body and comfort configuration and coding: enabling or changing features such as lighting, mirrors, TPMS, trailer settings and display options, running actuator tests, adaptations, and service functions across many modules. Owners and independents use it to activate hidden features and diagnose newer CAN-based FCA vehicles that generic tools cannot fully access. Recommended adapters — certain ELM327 or dedicated units — determine reliability and coverage. It is widely used in the Jeep, Ram and Alfa communities for coding that otherwise needs dealer software (wiTECH).
AlfaOBD focuses on FCA on-car diagnostics and feature coding; Softechpro is a separate file-based layer, editing extracted engine calibrations for DPF/EGR/DTC-off and Stage tuning with automatic checksum correction.
