ECU Editor / Map Editor
EcuTek Tune, part of the ProECU suite, is professional ECU calibration software used mainly on Japanese platforms including Subaru, Nissan (and GT-R), Mazda, Mitsubishi and Toyota/Lexus. It reads and reflashes factory ECUs via OBD-II using an EcuTek programming cable, exposing fuel, ignition, boost, cam, torque and drive-by-wire maps. EcuTek is dealer/tuner-licensed: professional tuners buy licenses and reflash customer cars, frequently deploying custom features such as launch control, flat-foot shifting, map switching and gauge output delivered through the ECU Connect app. It also includes DTC manipulation and live datalogging. It is widely used by workshops specializing in JDM performance vehicles and is one of the standard tools in that segment.
Softechpro concentrates on European Bosch/Siemens firmware with automated DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off modules and checksum correction, so it complements EcuTek's JDM-focused manual calibration rather than overlapping it. Tuners still use EcuTek hardware to read and write those Japanese ECUs.
