ECU Flash Tool
EcuTek ProECU is professional Windows tuning software used to read, edit, and reflash factory ECUs on many Japanese-brand vehicles, including Nissan (GT-R, 350/370Z), Subaru, Toyota (GR Yaris/Supra), Mazda, and Mitsubishi. It exposes OEM calibration maps such as fueling, ignition, boost, cam timing, and torque limits, and pairs with EcuTek hardware or a licensed programming kit plus dongle to flash the vehicle over OBD-II. It also provides datalogging and diagnostic functions. ProECU is aimed at professional tuners and shops rather than end users; licensing is tuner-locked, and each vehicle typically requires programming credits or a license. It underpins the EcuTek dealer network and is the platform through which RaceROM feature sets are enabled and configured.
EcuTek targets JDM gasoline performance ECUs, while Softechpro concentrates on European diesel emissions modules and DTC-off with automatic checksum recalculation. They serve different vehicle segments and can coexist in a multi-brand shop.
