DTC Remover Pro denotes the enhanced or 'pro' variants of DTC-removal software, typically offering broader ECU coverage and more automated detection of fault-code tables than the basic editions. The workflow is the same in principle: load an ECU flash dump, let the tool enumerate the diagnostic trouble codes it recognises, deselect the ones to keep active and switch off the rest, then export a modified binary for flashing. 'Pro' builds usually add support for newer Bosch EDC17/MED17 and Continental families and try to preserve the rest of the calibration untouched. Users are workshops performing EGR/DPF/lambda deletes who need the corresponding codes suppressed. Since the tool defeats OBD and emissions diagnostics, it is positioned for motorsport, off-road and export vehicles only.
Softechpro offers the same DTC-off outcome as an automated module across a large firmware library with automatic checksum correction, aimed at saving manual editing time. It works on already-read dumps and is not a substitute for the flashing hardware.
