ECU Editor / Map Editor
DTC Remover is a long-circulated Windows application that opens an ECU flash dump and locates the diagnostic trouble code definition tables so selected fault codes can be switched off. After a mechanical or software delete — EGR, DPF, swirl flaps, glow plugs, lambda — the ECU would normally store a code and illuminate the MIL or drop into limp mode; DTC Remover neutralises the chosen codes inside the binary so they no longer set. It presents the detected DTCs from the file and lets the user disable them individually or in bulk, then saves a modified bin for reflashing. It is used by tuners across many Bosch, Siemens/Continental, Delphi and Marelli ECUs. As it defeats emissions and OBD monitoring, use is limited to off-road and motorsport.
Softechpro Solutions applies DTC-off modules automatically across roughly 1,400 firmwares and re-corrects the checksum for you, so on a supported dump it delivers the same fault-code suppression without hand-editing tables. It processes a file you have already read rather than reading the ECU itself.
