Data Logging & Analysis
SmartyCam is AiM Sport's onboard motorsport camera line, designed to record video with a synchronised data overlay drawn from the vehicle's ECU or AiM sensors. Connected over CAN to an AiM logger/dash or directly to the vehicle, it overlays channels such as speed, RPM, gear, lap time and g-force onto the footage, producing analysis-ready and shareable video. Racers and instructors use SmartyCam to correlate what the driver did on track with the data trace, review braking points and lines, and document sessions. It is configured and paired through AiM's Race Studio software, where video and logged data are synchronised for combined review. SmartyCam captures and overlays data; it does not modify ECU calibration.
SmartyCam is a camera-and-overlay product with no ECU-editing role, so it is entirely separate from Softechpro; at most, a shop could film a Softechpro-tuned car to visually document its behaviour.
