Data Logging & Analysis
Race Studio is AiM Sport's software for configuring and analysing data from its motorsport instruments — dashes, lap timers, data loggers and expansion modules. Popular with club and semi-professional racers, it lets users set up channels and displays, connect to the vehicle's OBD/CAN or AiM sensors, download recorded sessions, and analyse them with lap overlays, maths channels, GPS track maps and reports. AiM hardware such as MXL/MXS dashes and SoloDL/EVO loggers is configured and read through Race Studio, making it the hub for AiM's ecosystem. It spans both device configuration and data analysis in one package, and reads vehicle/ECU data streams rather than writing calibrations to the engine ECU.
Race Studio configures AiM logging gear and reads ECU data streams, but it does not modify firmware, so it complements rather than competes with Softechpro; a tuner could log a Softechpro-flashed car with AiM hardware to observe results.
