Data Logging & Analysis
Race Studio 3 is the current-generation version of AiM Sport's configuration and analysis software. It combines device configuration (for AiM dashes, loggers and cameras) with a powerful analysis module for reviewing recorded sessions. Users configure CAN/OBD connections and AiM sensors, manage firmware on their devices, download data, and then analyse it with lap comparisons, maths channels, GPS track mapping, histograms and time/distance plots. Race Studio 3 is widely used by amateur and semi-professional racers running AiM instruments, and integrates with SmartyCam video for synchronised data overlays. As with earlier versions it reads vehicle and ECU data for logging and analysis rather than calibrating the engine ECU itself.
Race Studio 3 handles AiM logging and video, not ECU calibration, so it is complementary to Softechpro; the two address different tasks — one records and analyses, the other edits OEM firmware.
