Data Logging & Analysis
ECU Bridge is an AiM Sport interface device that connects a vehicle's ECU to AiM displays and loggers, translating the ECU's data stream (via OBD-II or a dedicated CAN/serial connection) into channels AiM instruments can display and record. It lets owners of factory or aftermarket ECUs feed engine parameters — RPM, speed, throttle, temperatures, lambda and more — into an AiM dash or logging system without extra sensors. Configured through Race Studio, ECU Bridge is popular for adding proper data acquisition to road and track cars that already have a capable ECU. It is a read/interface bridge: it acquires and forwards ECU data for logging and display, and does not write calibrations to the ECU.
ECU Bridge only reads and forwards ECU data, so it neither conflicts with nor overlaps Softechpro's firmware editing; it could, however, be a handy way to log a Softechpro-tuned car's live channels on an AiM dash.
