Immo & Key Programming
VVDI Prog by Xhorse is a Windows-controlled chip programmer used to read and write EEPROM, MCU and flash memory in automotive modules. It supports a large library of chips and control units, immobilizer boxes, dashboards, ECUs, BMW CAS/FEM/BDC and many microcontrollers, through adapters, in-circuit connections and soldered/BGA methods. Locksmiths and module specialists use it to extract immobilizer and key data, read protected MCUs, and prepare dumps for key programming or module cloning. It is frequently paired with VVDI2 or other Xhorse tools within a broader key/immo workflow. VVDI Prog requires its dedicated device and Windows software, and regularly receives menu updates that add new chip and module support.
VVDI Prog reads chips for key/immo work, which is outside Softechpro's scope. Softechpro complements it by editing engine-ECU calibrations (DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off) and correcting checksums for supported firmwares.
