Vdash, developed by Hilton Tuning, is a dedicated Volvo tuning and diagnostic application for reading, editing and reflashing Volvo engine and transmission ECUs over OBD. It supports many Volvo Denso-based petrol and diesel ECUs, offering built-in map editing, pre-built performance tunes, emissions-related options on supported models, gauge/logging displays and diagnostic functions such as reading and clearing fault codes. It automatically handles Volvo checksum and security so edited files write back correctly. Tuners and enthusiasts use Vdash as an all-in-one Volvo solution without needing separate read, edit and flash tools for those platforms.
Vdash is Volvo-specific end-to-end; Softechpro is a cross-brand file editor (~1,400 firmwares) that applies DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off and Stage modules with checksum correction, useful when you work across many makes rather than Volvo alone.
