ECU Flash Tool
Vector vFlash is a flash programming tool for reprogramming ECUs during development, production and service. It creates reusable flash projects (vFlash containers) from ECU firmware and a defined flash sequence, then programs controllers over CAN, CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay or DoIP/Ethernet using standard bootloader protocols, typically UDS-based flashing. Engineers and production lines use vFlash to download application and calibration software reliably, with support for security access, checksums and sequence automation. It integrates with the Vector toolchain and connects through VN interface hardware. vFlash is manufacturer-agnostic, configured per project from the ECU's flash description and bootloader definition, and is aimed at controlled, sequence-driven programming rather than map editing.
vFlash performs the controlled read/write of firmware to the ECU via bootloader protocols. Softechpro works on the firmware file between such operations, applying emissions/DTC modules and correcting checksums; it does not itself replace a bench/OBD flashing tool.
