Vector CANape

OEM Calibration & MeasurementVector InformatikWindows + hardware interface

Vector CANape is a leading measurement, calibration and diagnostics tool used at OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to optimize ECU software. Using A2L descriptions, it reads and writes ECU parameters live over CCP/XCP on CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet and via debug interfaces, records synchronized measurement, video and GPS data, and supports flashing, DoE, and ADAS/sensor data fusion. Calibration engineers use CANape on benches, dynos and in vehicles to tune engine, transmission, hybrid and emissions functions and to validate control behavior. It integrates with the wider Vector toolchain (CANoe, vFlash, ASAP2 Studio) and is ECU-agnostic wherever an ASAP2 description and supported protocol are present, covering controllers from Bosch, Continental, Denso and others.

What Vector CANape is used for

Where Softechpro fits

CANape is professional OEM calibration equipment for live, address-level tuning; Softechpro does not claim that role. Softechpro handles the offline firmware side, auto-applying emissions/DTC modules and correcting checksums, making it complementary rather than a substitute.
