Aftermarket Diagnostic Scanner
The VCP System is the core platform of VAG CAN PROFESSIONAL, the interface hardware plus base software that delivers diagnostics, coding, adaptation and guided functions for Volkswagen Group vehicles. It communicates over CAN, K-line and DoIP with Audi, VW, SEAT and Skoda modules, providing fault-code work, long coding, component protection handling and service routines. The VCP System serves as the foundation for optional modules such as VCP Flash (ECU/component flashing) and VCP Programmer (EEPROM/immo programming). Independent specialists use it for retrofit coding, module setup and near-OEM diagnostics. It is Windows software that requires the genuine VCP interface, and is frequently chosen by shops needing engineering-oriented VAG capability alongside everyday diagnostics.
VCP handles VAG diagnostics and coding; Softechpro works on the firmware to auto-apply DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off modules and fix checksums for supported files. It also offers permanent DTC-off in the calibration, complementing VCP's scan-tool clearing.
