Immo & Key Programming
A VAG IMMO Tool is a broad immobilizer utility covering the range of Volkswagen Audi Group systems, from early IMMO 1-4 (with PIN/SKC and login-based learning) through IMMO5 and the MQB platform. It reads immo data from the cluster, engine ECU or Kessy module — over OBD or on the bench — to program keys, perform all-keys-lost, read the PIN/SKC, adapt replacement clusters and ECUs, and handle component protection. Users are VAG-focused auto locksmiths and workshops servicing Golf, Passat, A3-A8, Octavia, Leon and related models across many years. Because VAG immobilizer methods changed significantly between generations, the tool selects the correct procedure per system and focuses on accurate data extraction and module alignment so the vehicle recognizes the new key and starts.
Softechpro does not program VAG keys or immobilizer data, so it does not replace a VAG IMMO Tool. It complements VAG work by handling engine-ECU DTC-off and emissions modules with automatic checksum correction on supported firmwares.
